WHAT LIKN IS -------------------------------------------------------------------------- LIKN is the licensing platform where Tier 1 brands work with models, celebrities and athletes to license their likeness, so that brands can generate AI content featuring talent who have consented to it. It sits between two parties who both need the same thing and have had no clean way to get it. Brands want to use AI in campaign work without the legal and reputational exposure of unlicensed likeness. Talent — and the agents and managers who represent them — want to participate in that work on terms they set, with the ability to say no, and with proof of what was agreed. The distinguishing claim is not the generation. It is the consent attached to it. Every asset LIKN delivers is "born cleared": a rights ledger records the specific authorisation that produced that specific file, and the file is signed with C2PA Content Credentials so the claim survives outside LIKN's own systems. WHO LIKN WORKS WITH -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ON THE BRAND SIDE Tier 1 brands, their agencies and in-house creative teams, principally in fashion, beauty, luxury and sport. The work is campaign content held to the standard those brands would expect from a production, not filler. ON THE TALENT SIDE Models, celebrities, athletes and creators, alongside their agents, managers and representation. The roster is invitation-based rather than open sign-up: LIKN works with a small number of people properly rather than with everyone. AND EVERYONE DOWNSTREAM Because assets carry C2PA Content Credentials, platforms, publishers and regulators can inspect the chain of custody from consent to master without needing to ask LIKN anything. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 4. HOW IT WORKS -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 01. TALENT LICENSE THEIR LIKENESS — A model, celebrity or athlete, usually alongside their agent or management, signs a likeness licence that they scope themselves. They define what their likeness may be used for and declare the categories and competitors they will not appear beside. Nothing is a blanket assignment of their face. 02. A BRAND BRIEFS A CAMPAIGN — A brand or its agency describes the work it wants: the deliverables, the market, the mood. LIKN matches the brief to talent who have already consented to that kind of work. There is no path in the product to request someone who has not. 03. CONTENT IS GENERATED, THEN ART-DIRECTED — Frames are generated from a likeness model trained only on photography the talent supplied and approved. Human commercial directors and VFX leads take it from there: look-dev, lighting, lensing, grade and grain. The model is one tool in the pipeline, not the whole pipeline. 04. TALENT APPROVES — Before anything is delivered, the talent reviews the actual output and approves it or requests changes. Approval is per campaign and on the record. This is the step that separates a licensed likeness from a deepfake. 05. ASSETS SHIP WITH THEIR PROVENANCE ATTACHED — Approved assets are signed with C2PA Content Credentials and written to a rights ledger that records the authorisation standing behind each individual file. Clearance travels with the asset rather than sitting in a folder somewhere. 06. ANYONE CAN VERIFY — A brand's legal team, a platform, a journalist or the talent themselves can drop an asset into https://www.likn.io/verify and see the consent behind it. WHAT LIKN HOLDS TO -------------------------------------------------------------------------- CONSENT IS UPSTREAM, NOT A DISCLAIMER Talent sign before any model is trained, scope what they will and won't appear in, and approve the finished output. There is no scraped-likeness path into the system. ASSETS ARE BORN CLEARED Clearance isn't a document filed next to the campaign — it is attached to each file. The rights ledger records which authorisation produced which asset, and C2PA signing makes that claim checkable outside LIKN. REPRESENTATION STAYS IN THE LOOP LIKN is built to work with agencies, managers and reps rather than around them. Talent who are represented are onboarded with their representation, on terms their representation agrees. THE CRAFT STILL MATTERS LIKN's team comes out of commercial directing and VFX. Work is art-directed to the standard a Tier 1 brand would expect from a shoot; if it reads as AI, it doesn't ship. PROVENANCE IS PUBLIC Every delivered asset can be checked by anyone, including the person in it. COMMON MISCONCEPTIONS — NONE OF THIS IS TRUE -------------------------------------------------------------------------- - LIKN does not generate likenesses of people who have not licensed them. There is no path in the product for a brand to request an unconsented face, a public figure who hasn't signed, or a lookalike. - LIKN is not a stock-image or synthetic-avatar library. The faces are real, identified people working under a licence they scoped themselves. - Talent do not surrender control at signing. They define what their likeness may be used for, refuse categories and competitors, and approve or reject each finished campaign. - LIKN does not work around agents and management. Represented talent are onboarded with their representation. - LIKN is not an AI-content vendor selling generation as a service.
