Privacy & Cookie Policy

Last updated · June 2026

This policy explains what data LIKN collects when you visit likn.io or use our product, why we collect it, the cookies and trackers involved, and the choices you have. We keep it in plain language and only collect what we need to run the service.

Template notice. This document is a practical, good-faith starting point — not legal advice. Have counsel review and adapt it to your final stack and the jurisdictions you operate in before relying on it.

1 · Who we are

LIKN (“LIKN”, “we”, “us”) provides cinema-grade AI campaign production for fashion brands. For any privacy question, or to exercise the rights described below, contact us at hello@likn.io. If you tell us you’re writing about a privacy or data request, we’ll treat it as one.

2 · What we collect

We collect data in three ways:

  • You give it to us. When you request access, brief a campaign, apply to the roster, or email us, we receive the details you send — typically your name, work email, company, and whatever you write to us.
  • Automatically, as you browse. Like most sites, our hosting and analytics record basic technical data such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and referring links. This helps us understand traffic and keep the site working.
  • From our product, once you have an account. If you use the LIKN app, we process the account, project and billing data needed to deliver the service.

3 · Cookies & trackers we use

A cookie is a small file a site stores in your browser; some tools also identify visitors without traditional cookies. Here is everything we run and why:

ToolPurposeCategory
CookieYesStores your consent choices and shows the cookie banner. Strictly necessary for the banner to remember your preference.Essential
Vercel AnalyticsPrivacy-friendly, aggregate page-view analytics. Does not use cookies and does not build cross-site profiles.Analytics
RB2B (reb2b)Business-to-business visitor identification. Where available, it tells us which companies and professionals are looking at LIKN so our team can follow up. To do this it sets LinkedIn and partner identity cookies. It operates on U.S. traffic only.Marketing
Supabase / StripeUsed only inside the signed-in product — Supabase for accounts and data, Stripe for payments. They set cookies needed to keep you logged in and to process payments securely.Essential (app)

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time using the cookie settings link in our banner. Blocking non-essential cookies will not break the site.

4 · Your consent choices

When you first arrive, our consent tool (CookieYes) determines what to ask based on where you are:

  • In the EU / UK / EEA and other opt-in regions, non-essential trackers stay off until you accept them. Nothing in the “Analytics” or “Marketing” categories runs without your consent.
  • Elsewhere, including the United States, those tools may run by default, and you can opt out at any time using the controls in this section and our banner.

5 · How and why we use your data

  • To respond to your requests and provide the service.
  • To operate, secure, and improve the site and product.
  • To reach out about LIKN to relevant businesses and professionals (B2B marketing).
  • To meet legal, accounting and security obligations.

Our legal basis (EU/UK visitors). We rely on your consent for analytics and marketing trackers; on our legitimate interest in reaching relevant businesses and keeping the site secure; on performance of a contract when you use the product; and on legal obligation where the law requires it.

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share data only with the service providers listed above, who process it on our behalf, and where required by law. Some of those providers are based in the United States, so using LIKN may involve transferring your data there under appropriate safeguards (such as the providers’ standard contractual clauses).

6 · Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these, email hello@likn.io and we’ll respond within the time your law requires.

You can withdraw consent at any time via the cookie settings in our banner — this won’t affect processing we did beforehand. EU/UK visitors also have the right to lodge a complaint with their local data-protection authority.

U.S. residents (incl. California): you may opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information as those terms are defined under laws like the CCPA/CPRA. To opt out of our B2B visitor identification and marketing trackers, use the cookie settings in our banner or email us with the subject line “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information”. We will never discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.

7 · Retention & security

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as the law requires, then delete or anonymise it. We use reputable providers and reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, though no method of transmission is ever perfectly secure.

8 · Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our product and obligations evolve. When we do, we’ll revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be made clear on this page.

9 · Contact
